Hello & welcome to Vintage at Goto!

My name is Glenda (Goto is my childhood nickname) & I am the owner & curator who hand selects every item you find here in my hometown of Melbourne, Australia.

I first started vintage shopping when I needed to source costumes for short films that I made. Shopping with a character in mind was interesting to me, developing a look that influences the way a character behaves & the way they present themselves.

I fell in love with the hunt, the thrill of finding something unique & the fact that you could wear something you won't see on anyone else were all really appealing to me as an eclectic individual.

I continue to source with that same mindset- I love to imagine outfits, the story behind it, the kind of person who will buy it & the places they may travel in it- it's truly the most rewarding part of my job- the hardest part is not keeping everything I find!

Sourcing vintage & pre-loved is a passion & I cannot walk past a rack of vintage without getting the call to riffle through many a clothes hanger with a sense of accomplishment when pulling out a winning item.

I consider myself a garment matchmaker- hoping to match the right item with the right person- I hope I have found something you have been looking for & I appreciate your support of my small business- it means the world to me!
